Seasonings & Rubs
Sinfully Good

If you are in a hurry and you have no time: rub in and start to cook immediately. If you are
not in a hurry and you have some time, allow meat to marinade using the following guide.
Although these are guidelines, after you use the seasoning blends once or twice, use as
much or as little to your taste.

Small foods: 10-20 minutes.
Thin cuts of single serving portions: 30-90 minutes.
Thicker cuts of single serving portions: 1-3 hours.

Large or tough cuts such as rack of ribs or a whole chicken: 4 hours to overnight.
Very large cuts such as roasts or whole turkeys: overnight to 24 hours. Shake 1
Tablespoon seasoning per pound meat before grilling or broiling.

Dry Rub: Massage 1 Tablespoon seasoning into a pound of meat. Let sit, wrapped in
plastic in the refrigerator using the basic guidelines for timing.

Savory Marinade: Mix 1/4 cup olive oil, 2 Tablespoons soy sauce, vinegar, wine or citrus
juice and 2-3 teaspoons seasoning in a bowl or casserole pan. Add 1 lb. meat; marinade
30 minutes, covered in the refrigerator. Broil, barbecue, or pan fry meat.
